  • Blair, 2nd grade Teacher

Beth was fantastic. The course covered a LOT of information and yet each hour each week didn't seem rushed or too crammed. The timing was perfect and prompt.

  • Sarah, Administrator

I enjoyed the short meeting times that focused on games/activities and specific skills for building number sense that we could teach our students. It felt like every hour packed a punch! Just the right amount.

  • LeAnne, 3rd grade Teacher

Beth is an incredible instructor and she made this course interesting, challenging, and fun. I learned many new strategies, and I feel prepared to teach the Dimensions curriculum to my students.

  • Tina, 4th/5th grade Teacher

The instructional videos with the "try it yourself" tasks slides were really valuable for practicing the new concepts and experiencing what our students will experience. I found it really helpful to be able to go back and replay parts of the video as I was solving, to make sure I had the right idea. The live meetings were also helpful for establishing the foundational understandings before we started on those slides. Lots of opportunity for individualized Q&A was great, and the teaching style and pace was very effective. Finally, I appreciated the variety of suggestions for using everyday materials like paper strips in place of purchasing expensive manipulatives. That really makes the whole practice accessible for all. Mahalo!

  • Shawn, 6th grade Teacher

I really enjoyed how useful everything I learned was. Nothing felt like busy work or fluff. Everything I learned either reinforced techniques I've already known are effective or it provided answers for ways I've wanted to improve my current teaching style. Thank you so much!

  • Brendle, 3rd grade Teacher

Having the modules spread out on a weekly basis made the course feel very manageable and like I had time to digest the information. Being new to teaching Singapore Math, I think if I had taken a 2 or 3 day training, it would have been more stressful/overwhelming not having as much time to work through the modules and process it all. I also really liked that in the asynchronous work, we were able to look at how other people solved the problems and see their train of thought. Each of the live meetings and recorded videos in the modules were so well-explained. I was able to easily follow along with the lesson.
